Established in 2004, Mamatoto Childbirth Alliance is an Atlanta-based, woman-led birth justice and holistic maternal health organization committed to supporting women, girls, mothers, caregivers, children, families, and maternal health practitioners through culturally grounded education and compassionate community care. Our work embraces a two-generation approach that strengthens caregivers and children together while creating healthier families for generations to come. We serve Black girls and women, femme-identifying individuals, pregnant and parenting youth, families experiencing housing instability, and others facing barriers to trusted maternal health education and support. Through Annette's Daughter, our mobile maternal health and community outreach initiative, and Mamatoto Institute, our education and training initiative, we provide birth worker education, childbirth education, whole woman wellness, and community-based resources that help families navigate life's transitions with knowledge, dignity, connection, and care.​
